Innopack F&B Confex 2022 gets Silver sponsorship from ITC PSPD

ITC Ltd. - Paperboards and Speciality Papers Division (ITC PSPD)is the Silver SponsoratInnopack F&B Confex 2022, to be held on 5th& 6th May at The Leela Ambience Hotel, Gurugram.

This is the 8th edition of the event, where leading professionals from renowned F&B companies come together to have discussions and presentations around technological advancements and emerging market trends related to packaging in the F&B industry. The organizers are expecting a footfall of around 200-300 F&B packaging professionals this time around.

As Silver Sponsor, ITC PSPD is excited to showcase theirrange of plastic substitution products for the packaging industry.The ‘Filo’ series of barrier-coated paperboards, currently comprising of FiloBev, FiloPack and FiloServe, has been recently launched as an alternative to single use plastic disposables in the F&B industry. These paperboards are fullyrecyclable in standard recycling systems,as opposed to LDPE/BOPP laminated paperboards.

FiloServe is designed for food serving applications, acting as a replacement to single-use plastic plates and trays. The paperboard is coated with a special barrier that gives excellent oil and grease resistant properties. 

FiloPack comes with a Kit value of 16 that makes it ideal for both serving and delivery of oily and greasy foods. FiloPack can also be used for frozen food/deep freeze packaging. 

Filobev is designed for making paper cups that can replace plastic cups and LDPE coated paper cups. The paperboard is coated with a special barrier that gives excellent water-resistant properties and can be used to serve hot and cold beverages. 

In the ‘Filo’ range, both the paperboard and the barriercoating on it conform to global food contact regulations like US FDA and EUBfR Recommendations.
