Inauguration of the MULTIVAC India Global Capability Center

The MULTIVAC India Global Capability Center has officially opened in HITEC City, Hyderabad, marked by a ribbon-cutting and ceremonial lamp lighting. This new subsidiary will provide IT support and software development services for the entire MULTIVAC Group.The event was attended by 30 guests, including Sri Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary (ITE&C), and Dr E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, IFS, Special Secretary for Investment Promotion. Sri Sanjay Kumar praised MULTIVAC’s initiative and encouraged the team to promote Telangana in Germany. Dr Reddy highlighted Hyderabad’s strong talent pool and emphasized the role of TASK in enhancing youth employability through industry-relevant training.

Founded in March 2025, MULTIVAC Technology Solutions India Private Ltd. aims to expand the Group’s digital capabilities. The Hyderabad center offers strategic advantages such as access to skilled professionals, a robust IT ecosystem, and strong government support.

Dr Marius Grathwohl, Vice President Digital Products and Transformation, stated, “This expansion allows us to respond faster and more flexibly to global IT and software development needs.” Wolfgang Rundel, Vice President Corporate IT, added, “We plan to gradually build a team of around 50 by 2027, including experienced developers and young graduates.”

MULTIVAC has been active in India for over 15 years and views South Asia as a key region in its international strategy. In early 2024, a new production site was launched in Rajasthan, further strengthening the company’s regional presence.
