Arla Foods Ingredients and Brenntag broaden partnership to cover Southeast Asia

Arla Foods Ingredients has broadened its distribution alliance with the Brenntag Group to encompass Southeast Asia’s three largest markets in the food and nutrition sector.Under this extended partnership, Brenntag will handle the distribution of Arla Foods Ingredients’ diverse range of protein-based solutions in Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. The agreement spans various segments, including health and wellness products, infant nutrition, sports nutrition, and functional applications in bakery and dairy.

Brenntag Group stands as the global leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients. This new regional agreement follows the comprehensive 2023 deal between Arla Foods Ingredients and Zhongbai Xingye Food Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd—a member of the Brenntag Group—focused on the Chinese market.Southeast Asia presents considerable growth opportunities. Studies indicate that rising affluence across the region is fueling consumer interest in food and beverage products enriched with premium protein—an area where current supply falls short of demand.
