New regional hub brings application expertise, trials and scale-up support closer to manufacturers in Southeast Asia and beyond

ProXES has officially opened its new Technology Center in Bangkok, Thailand. The facility strengthens the company’s presence in Asia Pacific and gives customers and partners direct access to application expertise, processing technologies and hands-on support for tailored solutions.

The Bangkok Technology Center is designed as a platform for co-creation. Manufacturers can conduct trials under realistic conditions, optimize recipes, evaluate processing technologies and prepare solutions for industrial scale-up. By working closely with ProXES experts, customers can adapt processes to their products, raw materials and production requirements before making investment decisions.

Thailand’s central location in Southeast Asia provides efficient access to India, major ASEAN markets and wider Asian production and supply-chain structures. Its established industrial base, modern logistics infrastructure and skilled workforce create strong conditions for closer regional collaboration.

Thailand also plays an important role in the agri-food value chain. Its broad food-processing ecosystem and proximity to diverse markets make Bangkok a relevant location for manufacturers addressing different consumer preferences, ingredients and application requirements.

Supporting customers closer to their markets

“The opening of our Technology Center in Bangkok brings us significantly closer to our customers in Asia Pacific,” says Avinash Ranalkar, Managing Director APAC at ProXES. “It enables us to combine regional market knowledge with the expertise of our global network. Customers can test products with locally relevant raw materials and develop solutions that reflect their specific production requirements.”

The facility supports projects from the initial product idea to preparation for industrial production. Its capabilities cover important processing steps such as batch processing, size reduction and inline processing. This enables ProXES to support a broad range of food applications, including sauces and dressings, dairy products, plant-based alternatives, beverages, ready meals and confectionery, as well as selected pharmaceutical and cosmetics applications.

The Bangkok Technology Center also creates opportunities for seminars, training sessions and application-focused knowledge exchange.

Creating value through co-creation

“The introduction of new technologies and processes requires more than the right machines,” says Marc Setzen, CEO of ProXES. “It requires close collaboration, practical testing and a clear understanding of the customer’s individual requirements. Our Technology Center in Bangkok creates a space where ideas can be evaluated, processes refined and scalable solutions developed together with our experts.”

Practical trials also generate valuable application and process knowledge. Structuring this knowledge creates a foundation for smarter machines and increasingly data-based processing solutions.

The Bangkok Technology Center therefore represents more than a regional expansion. It strengthens customer proximity in Asia Pacific while supporting the development of more transparent, efficient and reliable production processes.
