Amul Introduces Kulfi with Maximum Protein Content

Amul, India’s largest food and FMCG brand, has made a strong mark this IPL season through partnerships with nine teams—six for ice creams and three for beverages. Known for its wide variety of ice creams, Amul is now championing the protein revolution with its new high-protein range aimed at both athletes and everyday consumers.
In a major highlight, Amul launched the world’s first high-protein kulfi in collaboration with KKR, with whom both Amul Ice Cream and Amul Protein are official partners. The product was unveiled on April 25, 2025, at ITC Sonar, Kolkata.
This innovative kulfi, in mango flavour, delivers 10g of protein per serving, with just 57 calories. It is low in fat, lactose-free, contains prebiotics, 100 million CFU probiotics, and has no added sugar—making it a first-of-its-kind nutritious dessert for the masses.
Speaking at the launch, Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of Amul, shared excitement about this milestone and upcoming high-protein products like parathas, sandwiches, snacks, and coffee. “Our goal is to help every Indian consume at least 1g of protein per kg of body weight daily,” he said. The kulfi will soon be available via Amul’s Q-commerce partners.
